THREE days of free music TO MEARS PARK


Saint Paul, MN August 13, 2014 : The eighth annual Concrete and Grass Lowertown Music Festival will return to Saint Paul's beautiful Mears Park Thursday, September 4 through Saturday, September 6. The free, three-day festival welcomes music lovers of all ages and celebrates our community's multi-dimensional musical tastes. The 8:30 p.m. artist will be announced soon.


Concrete and Grass serves as the launch of the fall performance season for The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, the Ordway and the Schubert Club, and showcases other groups from the Twin Citiesí diverse musical scene. Food, wine and beer from restaurants in the Lowertown Entertainment District will be available in the park during weekend.
